Frequently asked questions
Why isn't clipboard history recording?
Make sure the History switch is on. Your version of macOS may also have clipboard access controls. Check your system settings if access has been blocked.
Does QuanterX need Accessibility permission?
Only the optional Direct Paste feature needs Accessibility permission to paste automatically into the app you were using. Basic clipboard history works without Direct Paste.
How does the Shelf work?
Drag files from Finder into the Shelf to collect references to them. The Shelf lets you drag those files elsewhere later; it does not upload their contents.
Where is my data stored?
Clipboard history, notes, and settings are stored locally on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy for storage and retention details.
How do I delete my data?
Use QuanterX's Privacy section for history cleanup, export, and factory reset options. Exported backups are separate files; delete those yourself if no longer needed.
